Mr. Royster provides project management and oversight in the evaluation, financing, and development of high quality housing that improves quality of life for residents and the greater community.  He successfully brings multidisciplinary team members together to find creative solutions to address housing needs. He is experienced in utilizing private and public financing, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME funds, and other finance mechanisms.   Mr. Royster was instrumental in overseeing the development of North Carolina’s first multifamily properties to receive LEED for Homes Gold and EarthCraft certifications. Affordable Housing Finance magazine selected Mr. Royster as a 2011 Young Leader. Mr. Royster holds a B.A. in Sociology from James Madison University, and a Master’s degree in Community Development and Planning from Clark University.

Fun Fact: On his days off Jimmy is usually hiking in the mountains or on the water paddling looking to see what adventure lies around the next bend.
