Timber Ridge Cottages

Project Summary

Wesley CDC didn’t have to sell Spindale on the idea of senior housing. The town was already convinced — it just needed a partner who could build it. Mosaic stepped in to do exactly that, delivering Timber Ridge Cottages as 25 duplexes rather than one large building — each with its own entrance and patio, since seniors in a small, rural county like this one wanted something closer to a home of their own than a shared hallway and elevator. Six of the 50 units were designed specifically for residents with mobility challenges, keeping independent living within reach as residents age. A shared community building, library, computer room, and garden space give neighbors a reason to gather while also preserving the feeling of having a home of their own.
