Everett House

Project Summary

Mosaic built this 10-unit Charlotte community in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, one of the most underserved populations in affordable housing. Housing built specifically for this population is genuinely rare — most affordable developments aren’t designed with these residents in mind at all. Designed to be small in scale, Everett’s low unit count helps foster a tight-knit, supportive community for its residents, providing both housing and an opportunity for long-term stability and success.
