Mr. Thompson joined Mosaic in 2024. A seasoned Development Associate with experience across multiple organizations, Jon has a strong track record of delivering affordable housing projects on time, within scope, and under budget. He has successfully managed financial projections, assessed market and financial feasibility, and established development budgets for a range of multifamily projects. Mr. Thompson’s expertise includes securing over $60 million in low-income housing tax credits, guiding projects through design, permitting, and development phases, and preparing comprehensive materials for stakeholder engagement and investment approvals.

Notable projects include large-scale developments such as Poestenkill Place in Troy, NY ($39M), 754 State Street in Schenectady, NY ($111M), and several projects in Durham and Cary, NC, totaling over 570 units and $163M in combined development costs. Mr. Thompson’s work demonstrates a deep commitment to creating high-quality, affordable, and mixed-income housing.
